What is your return policy?

With the exception of custom items (such as family jewelry) and items sold in online auction venues (such as eBay), all items sold online; via mail order; and via telephone order, come with a 30-day, total satisfaction guarantee. This return policy does NOT apply to items purchased from Way Out West at trade shows, stock shows, fairs, and other similar venues; Way Out West and WayOutWestUSA.com are separate companies and have separate return policies. Items sold on online auction sites will have their own return policies which will be stated in the listings. We reserve the right to disallow any return for any reason (for example - but not necessarily limited to: in the event a person is determined to be abusing our return policy).

IMPORTANT:
custom items (such as family jewelry) are not considered returnable. If it is defective, the item may be returned for repair or replacement within 30 days from purchase. Defective custom items will be repaired or replaced with same or similar item. Upon receiving the item, we will inspect it and if it is determined to be damaged rather than defective, it will not be considered returnable and will be returned back to the customer without being repaired. We reserve the right to final determination of whether an item is defective or damaged.

The 30 day return period will begin on the date the item was delivered to the customer according to shipping carrier's records (UPS records, USPS records, etc.). In the event carrier's records are unavailable, date of receipt of item will be considered to be 15 (fifteen) days from the date the item was shipped. In the case of international customers for which shipper's records are unavailable, the date of receipt of item will be considered to be 30 (thirty) days from the date the item was shipped.

NOTE:
All Landstrom's jewelry comes with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. If the 30-day period has expired, it may still be eligible for exchange or repair through Landstrom's warranty. All claims for repair under Landstrom's lifetime warranty are handled through Landstrom's facility in South Dakota. If you need assistance with sending an item to Landstrom's for warranty repair, we will be happy to assist you.

Before an item may be returned, the customer must obtain an RMA# (returned merchandise authorization number). The RMA# must be clearly written on the outside of the package. We reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any package without an RMA#. To obtain an RMA# you may call our customer service number (877-808-6440), email us at or use the form on our website at http://www.wayoutwestusa.com/contact-us.html.

IMPORTANT:
Any item that is returned must be returned in original condition. Items that are damaged (through things such as, but not necessarily limited to, abuse, neglect, misuse, accident, or improper care) will not be covered and will not be considered returnable.

For customers within the United States: Return shipping will be provided by us, at no charge to the customer. To qualify for free return shipping, please keep the box(es) that the merchandise came in. After an RMA# is obtained, we will send the appropriate packaging (such as a bubble envelope) with prepaid postage and prepaid insurance.

For international customers: return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer; they will not be paid by us and will not be refunded to the customer. Original shipping and handling fees will also not be refunded.

For customer's benefit, we recommend that any items that are returned be packaged in the same manner as when originally shipped and that the package be insured. We cannot be responsible for any item that is lost or damaged while in return transit. If you are within the United States and are using our prepaid shipping label, insurance has already been taken care of for you.

Watches and Watchbands (Southwestern Indian Jewelry ONLY): We warranty the quartz watch and the stretchband for 1 year from date of purchase. Warranty is a limited liability warranty and only guarantees that the watch will run trouble-free and that the stretch band will function as intended by the manufacturer. This warranty includes coverage for the battery in the watch. It does not cover any damages cause by improper use or misuse of the watch or stretchband and does not cover damage to (or caused by) the watch or stretchband. The watch tips, and any stones in said watch tips, are not covered under this warranty; instead they fall under the 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

Watches and Watchbands - sizing of (both Southwestern and Black Hills Gold): Initial sizing of the stretchband on a watchband is at no charge. In addition, watchbands may be returned for a free resizing. We will only perform one free resizing. Free resizing includes any parts and labor involved in the resizing and only includes shipping fees for U.S. customers; international customers will be required to pay any shipping fees involved in said resizing. Customer must contact us for an RMA # prior to returning a watchband for resizing. In addition, any jeweler can resize the stretch band for you. They can easily make it shorter. However, they cannot make it longer, because they will not have the extra links required. As a result, we will gladly provide you with extra links upon request at no extra charge. Extra links can be requested at time of purchase or at any time during the 1 year warranty on the stretch band.
